Good Morning Everyone. The Junction Buttes are in flux as of yesterday. To explain todays photos and try to avoid confusion, the pack is not all together in one group. 911M an 970F appear to be the JB pack leaders now. 911M and 970F (aka The Black Female now collared) have with them the following: 907F 968F Black pup 969F Uncollred Grey female pup Uncollared Grey Male Yearling 870F (now the past Alpha female) with her injured neck and conflict wounds is healing and was alone yesterday. 890M (now the past Alpha male) was also alone. How this all plays out in the days to come will be observed. So with the photos of today keep in mind it is not one group but a divided/split pack as of yesterday. What a difference a day can make in the world of wolves. Now you have the photos cleared for understanding of the pack flux. 11 degrees this morning in the park..a tad nippy.
