Good Morning Everyone. There have been a number of queries in regards to the culinary adventures at the Compound. Its really more of a philosophy than a place. Cooking/Smoking enough food for the entire week at one time does make more sense especially if the weather wont cooperate. The base number of people normally eating in the compound is six. This includes Lord Ignatious of the Flatlands, AKA Iggy the Wonder Pup. Obviously there are certain foods he cannot partake of but he is great at doing a pre wash clean up of the plates and pans. For example: yesterday Cathy make a bacon wrapped stuffed meatloaf. This evening she has a commitment. However, we will be taking loaves of Italian bread and making it into garlic bread. Then we will take the stuffed meatloaf place it between two pieces of the garlic bread, add sharp provolone, a slice of tomato (fresh from the garden) and whatever else we feel like and then griddle it.
