Good Morning FB Friends from the Hub area, it is Monday, November 10, 2014, a Happy 6 month Birthday to my Grand Twin Babies, Lorelai and Tate! It is 31 degrees heading to 69 today! Congrats to Kevin Haverick who won his way into the Championship Race at Homestead-Miami Speedway this upcoming Sunday filling out the remaining four are Joey Logano, Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin. A very exciting race yesterday and the new Chase format has increased excitement and interest in NASCAR Racing! Today on our Destiny Road Journey we will study another one word title for a characteristic of a Champion our word is “FOCUSED!” We find this definition in the dictionary from the noun “focus,” = “a subject that is being discussed or studied : the subject on which peoples attention is focused.” I always think about an eye examination when I think of the word focus when the optometrist switches the lenses in his device and says “is it better now . . . or now.” Many times in prayer I will ask God is my “focus” right now, and He will use the Divine Company’s CEO the Holy Spirit to adjust my “focus” me thru His Word! We find this example of Psalmist/King David knowing at times his life got out of “focus” but knew where to get refocused. Let this portion of Psalm 86 me our meditation for the day; verses 6-11, “Listen closely to my prayer, Lord; pay close attention to the sound of my requests for mercy. Whenever I am in trouble, I cry out to You, because You will answer me. My Lord! There is no one like You among the gods! There is nothing that can compare to Your works! All the nations that You’ve made will come and bow down before You, Lord; they will glorify your name, because You are awesome and a wonder-worker. You are God. Just You. Teach me Your way, Lord so that I can walk in Your truth. Make my heart focused only on honoring Your name.” ~ Let each of us seek adjustment to our vision and be a “FOCUSED CHAMPION! ~Blessed2Bless Others!
