Good Morning FB Friends it is Sunday, December 21, 2014. It will be great to go to the Rock Church of Asheville this morning! Here it is 38 going to 49 with 0% chance of precipitation in the hub where will be heading to later it is 41 going to 53 also no chance of rain. Every day as we look at the news it should drive us to our knees in prayer, more hatred shown again in the assassination of two officers because of their uniform they were wearing and following their dream to be NYPD Officers in helping their community! Our Destiny Road Journey post is entitled: “DOES FAITH MATTER?” IT SURE DOES! The absence of God in our society’s formula has made our Country deep in the negative side of what God wants us to be! Each day our daughter (our baby daughter) puts on a “MEDIC” uniform following her dream instilled in her after the 911 tragedy where 2,996 were killed by cowardly acts of hatred! We should never forget! Many lives were changed that day! Many that we love have answered the call to protect our communities their lives are put on the line each day! FAITH DOES MATTER!!! I’M NOT ASHAMED OF SAYING JESUS, JESUS, JESUS! The following scripture portion is why. ~~ “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.” So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.” (Acts 4:16-19). ~~ America is known as the “Melting Pot” of the world, our God is a Loving God! FAITH MATTERED to our Founding Fathers freedom from religious persecution is why this country was formed! The above portion of scripture tells of the power in the name of “JESUS!” One phrase that sticks in my mind from that horrible day one of the survivors said, “I met JESUS in the stair well today.” ~ What would happen if this nation “woke up” and “starting praying” . . . here is the answer. . . “If My people who are called by My name WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND.” (2 Chron 7:14)! ~I close with a racing illustration, our country is not running properly because the High Test Fuel (Spirituality) has been so watered down, no wonder it is sputtering so much! The highly publicized “P” word ‘Politics’ is not working; it is time to wake up and start using the other proven “P” word ‘PRAYER!’ ~~ “But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!” (2 Chron 33:12&13) ~Blessed2Bless Others!
