Good Morning FB Friends it is Sunday, December 7, 2014. The rain has departed WNC wind chill of 30 degrees only going to 53 but no rain in the forecast! Grateful to being going back-to-back Sundays to the Rock of Asheville to Worship the Lord and hearing a Positive & Encouraging message from the Word of God! The CHRISTmas Season is upon us . . . there are many wonderful, happy Holiday songs being played everywhere, with lyrics like “it is the most wonderful time of the year” yet the real focus & meaning has been diminished, each has a right in America to have their own opinion. But, I’m not a fan of the phrase “Happy Holidays.” Today, on the Destiny Road Journey post, I want us to think on the topic of, “Don’t steal our CHRISTmas!” The reason many of us on the Destiny Road Journey survived the wickedness of our old lost self destined to destroy and demolish anything in our path including ourselves but now are on the Right Path is because of JESUS CHRIST! That baby in the manger born to a young virgin Mary was conceived by the Holy Spirit, (Matt. 1:20, “As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.”) the child carried in His veins the pure and perfect Blood of God the Father, that was transferred to us when we bowed at the Cross and surrendered to the Savior all our sins were washed away by that Precious Holy Blood! (Col. 1:20-Amp, “And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross.”). ~ A classic song of Andrae Crouch is still imbedded in my brain and heart and will remain for eternity; “The Blood has never Lost its Power.” youtube/watch?v=K57OjEDeS7k That little child was born to die for the sins of the world to all will come to Him the Savior! (Luke 2:11, “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. “ ~ “Don’t Steal our CHRISTmas!” Holiday season can bring happiness, excitement, fun, excitement, presents and such. But CHRIST’S Presence can bring Joy, inner peace the world cannot bring, deliverance and freedom from the Bondage that sin brings! So during this time of the year when they say “Happy Holidays” we can say kindly “Merry CHRISTmas” and remember how much Christ Our Lord has done for us! ~Blessed2Bless Others!
