Good Morning FB Friends it is throw back Thursday, October 16, 2014. Hard to believe how time flies! Let each of us make the most of it! A pleasant addition to my schedule, I will be Blessed to perform Kim and Langley’s Wedding Ceremony! Today on our Destiny Road Journey I want us to speak on the subject of “See It, Seize It!” One of the saddest yet in the conclusion a very rewarding story is the one of Caleb. This account is found in Numbers 13:1-3 we find a direct message from God to Moses, The Lord now said to Moses, “Send out men to explore the land of Canaan, THE LAND I AM GIVING TO THE ISRAELITES. Send one leader from each of the twelve ancestral tribes.” So Moses did as the Lord commanded him. He sent out twelve men, all tribal leaders of Israel, from their camp in the wilderness of Paran.” Moses put the team together, but the sad part the team was split and cowered in “FEAR” {But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!” But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”-Vs 30-33} those with fear and unbelief didn’t see the Promised Land, yet the “Faithful” led by Caleb were part of this team kept “loyal” to God’s leader and after 40 years of wandering in the wilderness, and I literally hear him Caleb leading them crying out with all the strength in his older body, “I WANT THAT MOUNTAIN!” More determined than ever before to “seize what he saw” years ago, the “Promised Land!” Maybe there is a specific promise we missed because of disobedience or lack of Faith, it is time to “SEE IT & SEIZE IT!” ~Blessed2Bless Others!
