Good Morning FB..The cross can be either a barrier or a bridge to God. The Bible calls it a stumbling block and foolishness to those who dont get it (1 Cor. 1:23). The Bible says that every person since the beginning of time has sinned, and that sin is rebellion against God. God is holy--perfect--and cannot live eternally alongside sin. Thats not his idea of a perfect world. Sin has to go if you want to live with God forever, so either you separate yourself and your sin from God, or God takes your sin away so you can be perfect in his eyes. God chose to have his Son, Jesus, take your punishment so you wouldnt have to. Accept his gift of taking away your punishment so you can live forever with him. This is the greatest gift ever offered---dont refuse it! Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. 1 Thessalonians 5:10 Have a Blessed Day!
