Good Morning FB friends! Woke to Mike coming in my place. He feels the need to clean my cat litter boxes for me, but usually spends some time sitting and chatting while I have my first cup of coffee and give his dog treats and pets....and he does the same for my cats. This morning he was in a hurry, barking for a grocery list and saying he had to be there by 8:00. His nervousness puts me off to get out of his way and be still, so I didnt probe him for exactly where he had to be. Then he hurried down my back steps and promptly slipped and fell on an icy stair. Hes got a bad back to begin with, but said he was okay and off he went. He had mentioned that something with the truck transmission needed tightening. Ive been harping at him to get a hold of his doctor about the blood pressure pills hes on. The first pill made him itch all over, so he got switched to some other brand. Then his blood pressure started going up even higher instead of down and his heart rate is way too low (in the 40s). Mike called on Saturday and left a message, but no call back by yesterday. Im hoping he called them again. Its hard when you want someone to be mindful and responsible of themselves, so you arent depended upon as their baby sitter. The older we get the more resistant he is to listening to me however. He mocks me for thinking I know everything about medical issues. Im watching him for short term memory issues also. Oh the continuing sage of life with an ex! I really need to keep healthy to watch over him.
