Good Morning FBF .. Well I certainly hope yall had a wonderful weekend .. It was a weekend full of events for us.. to say the least.. I must first start by saying Yall know I love my hubby more than Moms apple pie and American sliced bread .. but there are times when he puts me to the test and this weekend was definitely one of them.. First of all Friday Hubby took off for his trip to Dallas.. and guess what.. He forgot his phone.. so I sat here most of the day listening to his work phone go off and off and off.. then he called and told me how to turn his phone off .. Peace at last .. Now you may ask yourself how does one go to a concert with a broken toe...simple solution put the sole of a flip flop into a sock and wear that smiley face sock .. You would be amazed at how much attention that dang sock brought to my foot.. which I told everyone it was hubbys fault because he has a work shed and in it he has a table saw and a compressor .. LOL he wasnt to happy with this but took it like the trooper he is.. But then the Senior farts just kept on a coming...The decision was to leave early so as to get a good seat.. Well if you can imagine me flitting around in a wheel chair .. packing ...but the ultimate was about to happen .. we took the long drive thru Houston... after a 4 hour drive .. hubby pulled up to the hotel.. awww peace at last.. But WAIT for it.. As he walked out of the hotel and walked up to my side of the truck.. I knew this was about to be a real Ball buster... and yes it was.. Hubby said and I repeat.. We forgot our suit case.. at this time me only hearing the We part of that.. LOL .. totally lost it.. on the poor man.. We .. you and the damn mouse in your pocket.. LOL.Yes.. we did sitting at home on the bed was our suitcase.. Now you dont realize how much you need till you have nothing.. to say nothing of the meds.. we had no cloths... LOLno tooth brushes .. and oh no.. no deodorant.. LOL .. well the hotel gave us most of the necessities .. and we found a Beals and did some cloths shopping all before the concert .. and was it worth it .. Oh yes it was...Ronnie Milsap closed his show with God Bless America which made the audience give him a stand ovation that was totally awesome.. SO this morning when hubby left for work .. I went thru the entire did you forget list .. needless to say he was a tad cranky at 3:30am.. LOL but took it like the trooper he is.. but you better believe he wont make that mistake again.. LOL Unlike most couples we had tons of laughs over the incident that is the one thing about my wonderful relationship with my hubby that I just totally treasure.. We can laugh at the worst of time .. it is wonderful finding the humor in everything.. So keep on the smile .. trust me when I say .. Life is so dang much better when You SMILE..
