Good Morning Facebook Fam!! Our hot topic today, the slippery slope butter queen Paula Deen appears to be on. Friday, the celebrity chef was told her contract with food network would not be renewed. Caesars Entertainment Corporation along with QVC are also said to be looking into their deals with Deen. This all follows her admission to using a racial slur, during a deposition in a lawsuit. Deen admitted to using the N-word and to telling what could be perceived as racist jokes in the past. Friday, she issued an apology begging her "children, team, fans and partners" to forgive her "inappropriate and hurtful language." Not long after that apology, Food Network fired Deen. That brings us to our hot topic, Should she have been fired for something she said years ago? (gw)
