Good Morning Facebook Gang.............PLH-ELB So Says the Dead People I Know Rumor has it this life will end Nobody gets out of here alive This life is deaths best friend Sometimes it’s hard to survive No one lives forever I am told Sooner or later we all have to go It’s best to live life and be bold So says the dead people I know We all hesitate and hold back When our hearts say move on Worrying about all that we lack While chewing on an old bone Busy worrying about the future Or busy worrying about the past Forgetting to enjoy the present Yet we know that it will not last Missing out on simple pleasures Missing out on beautiful routine Missing out on simple blessings More beautiful than they seem The petals on a morning flower The dew sparkling on the grass The morning as it slowly breaks The fleeting beauty doesn’t last So slow down to open up your ears Slow down and open up your eyes Enjoy every moment that you can Always remember that time flies It’s all over in the blink of an eye Stretch every moment into an hour Live each second like it’s your last And live your life filled with desire No one lives forever I am told Sooner or later we all have to go It’s best to live life and be bold So says the dead people I know Edwin Lewis Brashear © 07-12-2013
