Good Morning Facebook. On Saturday night I had a praise and worship session in my living room all by myself. During this praise and worship I had a strong desire to hear open the flood gates of heaven. As I listened to the lyrics tears began to flow and I began to thank God for all the rain that has fallen in my life. I went to worship service on Sunday morning with a feeling of expectancy and the Lord did not disappoint. I received a dynamic word at the 8:00 am service and at the 10:00 am service that spoke directly to my spirit. But what really gave me strength and encouragement was the song that they sung at 10:00 am service. Wouldnt you know it, the praise team sang open the flood gates of heaven. Once again the tears began to flow and I once again began to thank God for the rain that has and is falling in my life. Often times we look at rain as a bad thing but what we have to remember that rain is very important. In the Spring time when the pollen count is high, those of us with allergies welcome the rain to wash the pollen away. Farmers welcome the rain because it is needed for their crops. Rain is needed because it produces moisture and stimulates growth. Be reminded that a lack of rain can produce a drought and things will begin to dry up and wither. Take a moment to meditate on that. Lord once again I want to thank you for the rain for without it I would be lost and unable to grow. Can you feel the rain? Have a blessed day facebook and better yet be a blessing to someone.
