✔ Good Morning Family! A Word.. [James 1•27] Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. Religion gives God less room to work in our lives, and gives the devil a lot of room to work.. Where there is religious activity, there isnt much faith involved either.. Simply because religion puts the focus on what were doing or not doing, and as a result we unknowingly push God out of the equation.. Religion also doesnt leave much room for learning or adding to what we already know.. When thinking of orphans, most of us automatically think of children who no longer have their biological parents in there life, and are needing someone to step into their life to provide for them a stable home.. As much as these types of orphans need parents, their is another form of orphans that we may have overlooked, those who dont know their Heavenly Father.. Weve either lost sight of our Heavenly Father or weve never known His love to begin with.. Either way we all have areas of our lives that are orphaned, and through the care of the Church Jesus is constantly introducing us to our Heavenly Fathers love.. If were trying to totally understand the Fathers love for us before we move any closer to Him, well be standing in the dark for longer than we need to.. The closer we move to the Father, the more well understand Who He really is, and how much He loves us.. May we have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May we experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then we will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
