Thursday Part 4 Matthew 6:33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteous-ness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. (AMP) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (NLT) Sometimes, receiving all that God has for us, will require us rejecting, or refusing all that weve acquired on our own. There are often times when we dont desire the right things. The pursuit of these things will distract us from pursuing what is right. The only way to know the right things to pursue is to pursue The Righteous One. Ive heard it said, Its okay to have things, as long as the things dont have us. It has also been said, Were not supposed to love things, and use people. Were supposed to love people, and use things. I agree. Its pitiful and pathetic when the possessor becomes possessed by the possession! The way to prevent this from happening is to Put God First! When we make Gods priorities our priorities, and pursue them with all the passion within us; He blesses us with prizes beyond our comprehension! Its Above All Things! Thursday, Family.
