Good Morning, Family. Its Stay On The Wall! Wednesday Part 9 Isaiah 58:11-12 11 And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. 12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of [buildings that have laid waste for] many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In. As mentioned previously, one of the keys to staying on the wall is stamina. If we lack stamina, we will lose strength and become unstable. Because The Almighty has assigned or appointed us to be Repairers and Restorers, and Rebuilers, He is our Remedy, when we need refreshing. Theres no reason for for people or places around us to remain in ruin. We dont have to go far to find the answer. All we have to take a peek at the verses that preceded 11 and 12. The key refreshment is releasing what we already have within us. Is when we take what we already have to give to others. In other words, it is when we use what we have to help those who have less than we have. I suppose that it could be referred to as the law of reciprocity. Here are two examples: Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you. (Luke 6:38) 24 There are those who [generously] scatter abroad, and yet increase more; there are those who withhold more than is fitting or what is justly due, but it results only in want. 25 The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered.
