Good Morning, Family. Its Turn Down For What?! Tuesday Part 14 Daniel 3:21-23 21 Then these [three] men were bound in their cloaks, their tunics or undergarments, their turbans, and their other clothing, and they were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame and sparks from the fire killed those men who handled Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the burning fiery furnace. We shouldnt be overly concerned with being cast into a furnace. We shouldnt even be thrown off by those who throw us in the furnace. Thats because they will suffer more harm than we will! Heres a promise from Proverbs: Whoever digs a pit [for another man’s feet] shall fall into it himself, and he who rolls a stone [up a height to do mischief], it will return upon him. (Proverb 26-27) The three men were thrown into the furnace. They may have been thrown down, but they werent thrown away. Although the enemys intention with them was to be set on fire, he was really setting them up to be set free! The enemy thought that he had them tied up, thrown down, and trapped in trouble. They may have fallen in the furnace, but they werent far from The Father. It reminds me of a Scripture written by someone else who experienced uncomfortable circumstances, yet it gives us hope: 8 We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexedand unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; 9 We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed; (2 Corinthians 4:8-9) The enemy may try to cast us down, but we wont be destroyed. We might get struck down, but we wont be struck out. Anything that the enemy is allowed to do is only because God has the power to undo it. The devil may be allowed to control the flames, but God controls the temperature! Its Turn Down For What?! Tuesday, Family.
