Good Morning Folks! Whether people believe that truth is absolute or not, life still operates under the fact that truth is the same for all people, in all cultures, at all times. Some will say, There is no absolute truth or Truth cannot be known. If these statements are in fact true, they prove to be self defeating and cant be true because they contradict the claim they make. Truth is founded in reality, and what is true for one is true for all. It is true that gravity and its effects on our world are real. If one chooses to deny the principles of gravity as truth, they will quickly change their mind if they put their belief to the test by jumping off a building. So then morality which is founded in absolute truth is the same for all even though some will deny that statement. So then, since we all have differing opinions, who sets the standard on what is right or wrong human behavior? God does, and he reveals his standards in our heart and in His word, the Bible. If a person wants to know the truth, God has revealed it already. Can all religions that have opposing beliefs be true? No they cannot all be true. How do I know which one is true? You have to examine their truth claims by the available evidence presented. The claims of Christianity are verifiable by evidence. Christs resurrection is the defining truth that proves Christianity is the only route to salvation.
