Good Morning Friends in Christ, I pray your nights rest was peaceful and this rain has not dampened your spirit that is fueled by Christ. Romans 12:2 says, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. I thought of several words to describe the pattern of this world, lazy, greedy, selfish, immoral, unethical, and Im sure you could help fill in more. I however settled for this description, anti Christ. Im not talking about the Anti-Christ or false prophet, I mean anti Christ as in the worlds pattern is against Christ. The world wants everything that Christ dislikes. We could change world with society and that makes it a little more tangible. How about if we change society with close associates? What does this mean? It means you have to ask yourself, do my close group of friends promote Gods will? Are our actions pleasing in His sight? These are tough questions, especially for young people, the new person at work, the new person at school, or finding friends in a new town. However, those questions are important to ask. In order to imitate Christ, in order to be His example, we must conform to one pattern only, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Have a blessed Tuesday and remember to keep looking up! Pastor Dennis
