Good Morning From Meadows of Dan. It is 3 degrees below zero here this morning. I cant get my big window upstairs open to take my sunrise pictures because it is frozen shut. I know I need to promote my business once in awhile instead anyway. Please check out my cabin rentals page below. Right now I have one cabin and also I rent my barnloft for short term getaways. I also rent out my big barn occasionally for events like weddings and parties. It has to be the right fit. Meadows of Dan is a simple place and for those who are seeking a simple experience. Come stay here at the farm. Fabulous sunrises guaranteed. Lots of wildlife. We even see an occasional bear here, fox, coyote, and thousands of deer. We all live here together in relative harmony. We are just across the Parkway from Chateau Morrisette and offer a shuttle if you would like to have an extra glass of wine and not have to worry about the drive. I can guide you to the best hiking trails you will ever find. Its wonderful to just drive around on the backroads. Go into Floyd for the Friday Night Jamboree and dinner at my favorite spot there Micky Gs. Or stay in Meadow of Dan and have dinner at The Crooked Road Cafe - Cockram Mill Complex. I can tell you much more about Meadows of Dan. Mabry Mill is here and Primland. 6 miles up the road is Old Mill Golf Course. Of course we think the best part of Meadows of Dan is Poor Farmers Market AT THE PARKWAY. Come by. Sit on the porch with the locals gather with old friends or meet new ones. Okay?
