Good Morning, Good People! This morning I logged on to FB and my friend Ebony MsCameralady Blevins had posted this video of a song I went to sleep listening too. Try to tell me my people are not tuned into the same channel. So, I ask you my FB Peeps where you gonna be standing when the chance comes? Which side of history will you be on? Only you can answer those questions. I say this to you, there are different positions in this continuous work for justice and racial equity. Please do not think that the only role of the Citizen is to march in the streets. Although Civil Disobedience is important there are other things you can do. Ask yourself what do well and are willing to do longterm. Then sincerely commit to do that until you are able to see the end of the process. If all you have the willingness to do for a long period of time is to give $15, then give it. If you are a Teacher...then teach about whats happening. Maybe, you can not teach about it in your classroom because of rules. Well, teach about it in your Church, Mosque or Greek Organization toward collective understanding. If you are a Prayer Warrior than pray and gather others to pray building collective power. If you are a Poet, Artist, Creative, then us your creations to help people do understand what is happening and assist in visualize of new collective realities. Only you can determine what you can do sincerely. When you feel alone, please remember we are NEVER ALONE. The world is watching and so it the Divine Creator! Remember, you are Human and Divine all at the same time. We always put people over profit.
