Good Morning Guys! Happy Sunday! I spent some time this morning menu planning and making a corresponding shopping list. Taking the time to do this once a week helps set you up for success! Think about the less than stellar choices we make when we dont have a plan. We have worked too hard for that to happen! Start at home, make a list of your staples for breakfast lunch and snacks. I include deserts here too. This week Ill be making the banana ice cream I posted earlier! Im psyched. Then dinner is your only open ended meal. Even if you dont plan dinner specifically each day you have left yourself enough room in your points to accommodate just about anything by planning the rest of your day. :) thats what works for me. When I think back to the stuff I used to eat when I didnt take the time to meal plan, I didnt really eat well. I was an on the go person who often ate in my car on the way somewhere. I also didnt have set meal times so I would go without eating sometimes and then be ravenous and grab whatever because I had to eat something. Not good, and I think it showed. Now I take an hour a week meal plan, make my list and Im good for a whole week! It saves me time and keeps me on track all week. Im also cooking more and eating better.
