Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Prayer Is Talking To The Mighty God Our Helper in Prayer; Are you happy with your prayer life? A good many of us would answer no. Prayer is our greatest Christian privilege but, sadly, our greatest failure. We as sons, and daughters of the Mighty God, the King of kings, and Lord of lords have a great privilege to go before his throne give our petitions, our needs, our wants, our heartaches this time needs to be done. And done in reverence, humility, and correctly. NEVER pray to anyone living or dead but the Lord. People in different cultures, beliefs will pray to dead people, to Mary, to angels, this is an abomination unto the Father. In some cases some of these people when alive were probably wonderful but when they died they stayed dead. The only one to defeat death was Jesus, and anyone in Heaven that can hear us is God. When praying to dead saints, Mary, relatives that have passed your putting these others on the same level as God. His word tells us ONLY ONE MEDIATOR between you and him that’s Christ. We’re in a battle with three enemies, the world, the flesh, and the devil. The devil will fight you every step, because this is our communication with our Father. Now, some of us are indifferent—we really don’t want to pray. Some don’t know what to pray for or how to pray. And sometimes when we try to pray, the devil invades our thoughts to divert our attention. We also have been given a model prayer to show how our prayers should be. Unfortunately some have taken this and made it a prayer to repeat over and over again, called the Lord’s prayer. This wasn’t given to repeat but to teach us how to pray. It shows us to: Start with PRAISE to the Father, for HIS WILL, ask for FORGIVENESS. God knows this, so He has given Someone to help us—the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will help you. Jesus loved to pray—it was natural for Him. Sometimes we just don’t know what to pray for as we ought. But the Holy Spirit knows. He adapts our prayers saying, Even if you don’t know exactly what to pray, just pray! God knows your heart and what you need. Make time to pray daily, make time daily just to praise the Lord in prayer, make your time with the Lord a priority, not a chore. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Philippians 1:4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 1Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore. 1Thessaloians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. 1Thessaloians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
