The band with the funny name is made up of 16 musicians from Weiden, Amberg, Schwandorf and Nabburg, playing 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, guitar, bass, piano, and drums. The bands leader, Dr. Siegfried Koller, skilfully combines the talents of these musicians and plays music from funky to Jazz. As the name suggests, they focus on Swing but also include Latin and Rock pieces in their repertoire. Gems, Minerals, Fossils and Jewelry Fair Nov. 22 – 23: 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., in 90478 Nürnberg, at the Meistersingerhalle, Münchener Straße 21, ph 0911-231-8000. There is a large car park at the hall. You can find stunning crystals and minerals, ancient fossils and beautiful jewelry at this fair. A little snack bar is on site as well! Tickets are € 5 pp | € 4 for children 12 and older. Children under 12 are free. A 2-day ticket costs € 7.
