Good Morning, Hope you had a great Christmas. I just want to give you an update on Jessie (now Charlie) and Tessie (now Tucker) On Christmas Day I laid on the basement floor for about an hour with a blanket, kitty treats, food and water dish and litter box and talked to Charlie until he finally came out. He sat with me for quite some time, ate, drank, used the litter box, purred and cuddled. then he heard some noises from upstairs and he bolted back under the woodpile. We are continuing to work with him. He needs to get used to the sounds of our house and realize that he is safe. Its a lot more space here than the cage he is used to being in, so it will take some adjustment. He is eating and drinking and going to the bathroom, so I know it will just be some time before he decides on his own terms when he is ready to make his debut. Tucker decided last night to be brave. She came into the living room and started investigating around the Christmas tree. Something spooked her, she jumped, got her leg caught in a branch and nearly pulled the tree down. It was comical, but she didnt find it humorous. She took off and hid for the night. Tucker strutted out to the kitchen and started talking and chirping to me. Thats pretty much the first time she has made any sounds since since she has been here. She ate some food and followed me around as I got ready for work. She allowed me to pick her up and take a selfie. She is a bit bolder than Charlie. I hope she can talk him into coming out soon. :) Love them both! Judy
