Good Morning. I have four mousetraps in the loft and one in the kitchen, we had some peanut butter so I used that as bait, I would have used cheese, shows how much I know about the realities of catching mice. So many things I do seem to be for the first time, and Ime a person who likes routine. Our neighbour came round to give us a little gift last night, a packet of chocolate almonds, we both do this, sometimes we invite him in to share a bottle of fizzy wine and a few biscuits, this is a very French custom. We told him we wanted to sell our house and he said he might know some people who would be interested, he is the assistant mayor so he has a lot of contacts. We went to see the house our daughters ex boyfriend told us about but it was a very uninspiring place, basically a small box, so we passed on that. Still got to get a few door knobs for our doors, a lick of paint here and there, one of the kitchen windows needs the remaining paint stripped off of it. The windows are solid mahogany and are really well made, they look good in our kitchen, my leaky stained glass window looks pretty with the light coming through it. The only problem is our daughters old room, she painted it red and black when she was 17, red and black, I ask you! All quiet in the kitchen this morning, its clear and very mild, the chickens have been fed, as have the cats, now all I have to do is take Margaret her coffee. Enjoy the day. Richard.
