Good Morning! I hope you all had a restful night. So, I got to volunteer at school yesterday and have lunch with Dori! Loved it! Had a blast! I absolutely love being there! As I mentioned last night, the permission slips went home last night, (I got mine) and I will be speaking to the parents of room 202 tomorrow night. I never know what I am supposed to say but somehow it just flows out when I am advocating for my daughter. I noticed it last Thursday, twice, once when I was directly questioned--What are you trying to accomplish with these books? and again with the principal and teacher. It just flowed. I was shocked because normally I clam up and get my words twisted and frustrated. But I guess when it comes to advocating, it is such a strong feeling and it just takes over. I am so proud of myself for being able to help my daughter and all autistic children. Have a great day! ((HUGS))
