Good Morning. Im back! Too much sun, too much rum, too much everything. Its a little hazy, but I had a fabulous time. Now...back to reality. In the news this morning: Today the ball is in Congress court. Less than one week after President Barack Obama asked Congress for $3.7 billion to address the tens of thousands of immigrant children who have crossed the southern border in recent months, Congress is now tasked with doing something about it. They can pass it, do nothing or craft a new bill. Well talk about which path our lawmakers will take. Is a polar vortex really causing temperatures to fall in parts of the Midwest? The weather broadcasting community in Chicago has banned the term polar vortex from the airwaves. They say the unusually cool temperatures are because of good old fashioned cold front. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has finished undergoing therapy and counseling at an Army hospital in San Antonio. He could return to active duty as early as today. This also means military investigators can begin questioning him about why he left his post. Well talk about that process...and what officials know right now. And from WSB in Atlanta:..Residents in two local neighborhoods are spreading the word about Ku Klux Klan flyers left on cars. “This is something you hear about, but when you get it on your own personal car it makes it real,” Miles Keenlyside said. Keenlyside found a flyer on his car and, at first, said he thought it was a ticket. It was actually a flyer encouraging him to “Join the Klan...” Seriously? Sadly, yes. And I tried, really, really tried to get excited about the World Cup. And failed. I feel bad about that. Ill try again next year. Although that selfie was fab. Go Germany. See you at 9 and 10 AM ES.
