Good Morning. In John 19:15 we see the evidence of demon possession. Can you image that the persons who sought to kill Jesus were led by the High Priest. Yes my friend; if we don’t guard carefully the avenues to our soul, Satan will take possession of our heart and use to an one of his agents of destruction. Reflect for a moment on these words. “But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.” Cam you image that the High Priest considered Caesar his King and not Jesus. Can you image that the King of kings was being crucified by the persons for whom His death was to save? We might read this story and wonder how these church people could be so wicked. But stop for a moment and lets us reflect on our own lives. Do you think we are any different? Sometimes we crucify Jesus a fresh by the lives we live as Christian. Instead of standing up for Jesus at school we buckle under the ungodly demands of our teachers. Instead of standing up for Jesus we allow our friend to encourage us to disobey the commandments of God. This morning the Lord is reminding us that unless we allow the Holy Spirit to take full possession of every single area of our lives we will become just like the Jews. In this life there are only two ways. We are either under the control of God or Satan. There is no middle road. I pray that we will spend some time meditating on what Jesus went through during the hours leading up to His crucifixion. He did all of this so that we can be save. Please don’t allow His gift of salvation to be taken away from you. Please hold onto the hand of the man that stilled the water so that you can receive a crown of righteousness when He comes the second time.
