Good Morning. In Matt. 21:22 Jesus said, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” In order for us to receive what we ask of the Lord we must come in the name of the Lord. We must call upon His name and we will receive. Notice carefully in this passage of scripture that Jesus states two conditions for receiving all things. 1. Ask and 2. Believe. The Strong’s Concordance defines the original work for “all things” as “1. Individually - each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything; 2. Collectively - some of all types.” God knows exactly what we need and there when we come in His name we will ask for all that we need. This morning the Lord is reminding us that when we come in His name we will receive. There is strength in the name of the Lord. There is power in the name of the Lord. We are blessed when we call upon the name of the Lord in prayer. I pray that we will continue to connect with the Lord through prayer so that we can receive what is necessary for our spiritual development.
