Good Morning. It’s a new day! Dreams die first, they say. It is just the third month of the year but for some people the dreams and expectation they had in the first week of January may no longer be hot. In fact there may be only few who still retain the tempo and the zest they had at the beginning of the year. Others have fallen into apathy and might have gone back to the casual way things used to be. It is on record that so many people give up too soon. But nothing of value comes on a platter, people who desire it have to persevere and ‘fight’ for it. Someone says the reason why water wears out the rock is not because it is stronger but because it is persistent and consistent. Think about this: why are there so many talented people who are poor and could not meet their daily needs and responsibility? Talents and skills on their own cannot take anyone to his or her desired Eldorado or utopia; there must be persistent, there must be discipline. Persistence and discipline are the pillars that hold the bridge that connects us to our destiny. Difficulties and challenges abound but we are built with rebounding and incremental strength that rises to the occasion, you just have to activate it. There are hundreds of unsuccessful men and women who are talented. It is time to withdraw your name from the list. Napoleon Hill says patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success. If you persevere a little more as you channel your effort correctly, what was failure yesterday may become a resounding success today or tomorrow. You can convert the ashes of your yesterday’s failure into marketable asset today. After all ashes are dusty dirt particles which can be converted into laundry soap used to clean up the same dirt. Amazing! Isn’t it? Get up and dust up your dreams; it’s too early to give up. This only the 66th day of 365 days run; look how much you still have ahead of you (that’s for this year alone, not to talk of the rest of your life), so even if the 66 are not exactly what you wanted them to be, there is still hope. The only place you will find happiness is in your future, so focus on it. It’s well! It’s a good morning; have a great day!
