Good Morning. Just a couple of thoughts before I start my day trying to figure out a plan for the future. One. Tim Jones the former CEO and President of NBH has apparently left town without saying anything to this community. Not a word. Secondly, SEIU and MNA....get over it! Northern Berkshire Healthcare is dead. You no longer have any contracts with anybody. Your behavior on the hospital campus yesterday, storming the administrative offices, forcing a police response was despicable in an already bad situation. Lastly, my heart is broken for ALL the employees at the former NBH, both at North Adams Regional Hospital AND the VNA+Hospice of Northern Berkshire. The team at the VNA +Hospice is a group of hard working dedicated professionals who provided high quality home and hospice care for the folks in this community. All I can say is that it has been a Great honor for me to work with you. They, too, are suffering in this mess and little has been said about their plight. Hang in there....DB
