Good Morning Mississippi! As we get closer to the weekend, we also get closer to our next chance of rain. Expect a very muggy start to your Thursday with dew points in the mid to upper-60s this morning. Temperatures by this afternoon will rise into the mid-80s again, even with mostly cloudy to overcast skies. The majority of the area will stay dry today, but a few isolated showers and storms are possible later this evening near the Mississippi River. Rain chances will continue to increase through the early morning on Friday before more widespread showers and storms move throughout the afternoon/evening. Those showers will persist, on and off, through Saturday before we finally catch a break for the second half of the weekend.
