Good Morning Mississippi! Were seeing a broken line of showers and storms pushing through the Magnolia State this morning. Take the umbrellas with you as you head off to work or school today! Showers and storms will gradually taper off later this afternoon and evening after a high temperature of 77°. We will stay in the upper-70s through Wednesday under sunny skies before we rebound in a jiffy, back to the 80s for the remainder of the 8-Day Forecast! Our next chance of showers and storms will move through on Friday, but out next chance for what looks to be a soaker with stronger thunderstorms and rounds of heavy rain, will push in late Sunday and Monday of next week. -Brad Maushart WJTV
