Good Morning OYTF Families, Day 3 officially in the books and what an exciting 3 days it’s been. We’ve enjoyed seeing all of the Football Players and Cheerleaders getting right into practice. Our first game is only 3 weeks away and by walking the fields, there is no doubt OYTF will be ready. A couple important notes we’d like to share with you. First, today the Football Players should be in full equipment, helmet, shoulder pads, rib pads and practice pants including their knee, thigh, hip and tail-bone pads. Unfortunately our delivery for the Integrated Pants that many of you have been waiting on has been delayed and is now expected to arrive on Friday. If you are awaiting this delivery please stop by Spiritwear to pick up a used pair of practice pants which include knee and thigh pads for only $5. There are a few pairs of new pants still in the bag that are being sold for $10. You’ll still need a pad girdle underneath these pants, like years past, but they will get your through until our Integrated Pants arrive. They’ll also make it easier on you in having a backup pair of practice pants. We sincerely apologize for this unforeseen delay. Also, we are finding that several of the Football Helmets are in need of tightening. Please take a moment to check the screws in the helmets to ensure they are tight. If you are missing any screws in the helmet or need assistance please stop by our Equipment Trailer. Secondly, for Cheerleaders, if you are looking to take advantage of our Nike Sideline II Cheer shoes please make sure you place your order on or before Sunday, July 28th to ensure you have the shoes in time for our first game. More information and sizing shoes are available at our Spiritwear Trailer on the south side of the field. You can also check our website, oytf.org, for more information and the link to BSN Sports to place your order. Be sure to use the promo code to receive the special OYTF pricing. Finally, our PINK OUT GEAR is selling tremendously and will continue to be sold at the special pricing until Monday, July 29th. You can download your order form at oytf.org and bring your order form and your payment to the Spiritwear Trailer during practice. Additional forms are available at the Spiritwear Trailer. We will be extending the sale of PINK OUT GEAR into August but the pricing will be slightly higher. Take advantage of the very special pricing now, all GEAR is being sold for $5 per item.
