Good Morning. Our sick cat is still wobbling when it walks and her face is really swollen, you can see the two bite marks that the snake made, getting her to take her pills is not too bad, of all our cats she is the easiest to get a pill down. We just have to give her time for the anti biotics to work. We will be having another bonfire soon, our garden produces a lot of rubbish in the autumn, we have been pruning all our bushes so theres a lot to burn. We have some laurel bushes, they have thick waxy leaves and although green they burn like crazy, I shall have to watch out for flying sparks or our polly tunnel could become a casualty. Pot au fue for dinner tonight, my favourite meal.A friend of our keeps animals for meat and he has given us some cuts of beef for the pot, that together with onions, carrots, leeks and potatoes will do nicely. Pot au fue is Frances most popular dish and graces the tables of rich and poor alike, delicious. All quiet in the kitchen this morning, the sick cat is on my lap and the others are dozing around the kitchen. I fed the chickens earlier so thats out of the way, I think I shall take Margaret her morning coffee. Enjoy the day. Richard.
