Its Wednesday the 26th day of November 2014. *************************************************************************** Weather Forcast *************************************************************************** A weak ridge of high pressure extends along the east Queensland coast. A high will shift slowly east over the Great Australian Bight during the next few days, reinforcing the ridge as it nears Tasmania on Thursday. An upper trough extends from the northwest of the state into the southern interior and should shift east over southeastern Queensland on Wednesday. Another upper trough will move north from New South Wales into southern Queensland on Thursday. A slow moving surface trough lies through the southwest of the state. A coastal trough will most likely enter far southern Queensland waters during Thursday afternoon or evening and shift north. Showers and storms over western and southern Queensland and into the central interior, mostly during the afternoon and evening. Showers and possible storms about the central and southern tropical east. Slight chance of showers elsewhere. Moderate northerly winds, fresh at times near the coast. Moderate to fresh southeast to northeasterly winds elsewhere.
