Good Morning! Rights-are legal, social, or ethical principles of freedom or entitlement, I’m so thankful that I have the Rights of Heirship through Christ and no one can take that away from me. I’m sure you all have heard the statement; “I’ve got Rights” or you have said the famous statement “ I have the right to do that” I know that I have said that a few time in my life and just used that same statement this morning at the bank. I made a deposit yesterday morning around 7:57 A.M. and the Bank open at 8:00 so limited on time I just put it in the night deposit not thinking much more about it but I knew it needed to get put into that account because I had some auto payments coming in that day. Well later that night I get this email from the bank! You know that email that has the Famous “NSF” in the Subject line. Well I open it up confused why this is happening and look at the account and see these charges and things that had come through and of course no DEPOSIT. Well I’m wondering what is going on where did my deposit go. I then realize that it was not found or if it was it was put into someone else’s account. Then my mind starts to wonder and I find myself saying the famous words well that’s not right they can’t do that I have rights. I then begin to remember that there is no camera there, and that there is no way to prove that I put that Money in the night deposit box. I then begin to see my rights slip away and then begin to feel overwhelmed with Shame even though I didn’t do anything wrong but it sure looks like I just had a bunch of auto payments come through with no money in the account and here I am going to go to the bank tomorrow when I could have easily slipped a check in the deposit box and say it had been there all the time. I then realize that what I thought that “I had Rights” begin to look like “I’m going to look like a liar”! needless to say when I went to the bank there was a witness to the incident and a lady piped up and said he was here and did make a deposit I saw him they had found the deposit and was posting it but they had checked the night deposit at about 7:50 and my deposit was put in after that time. Thank God for that Wittiness because without that I would not have had a leg or right to stand on. Sound familiar. Christ is our wittiness to the Father he intercedes for us and gives us the right to be called Children of God. In Roman 8: 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[f] And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Just think just like me if it wasn’t for the Lady at the bank that saw me make the deposit then I too would have had a debt to pay but because of her they took all charges away and made it right. Just like that Christ took our debt so that we can have freedom of being Sons of God. We can have the same rights because of the price that Christ paid on the cross. Today maybe your debt is overwhelming you then take it to Christ he has already paid the debt just except him and become Free of all charges and past regrets. God Bless Brad.
