Good Morning! Rise and SHINE.... I was a Really shitty Drunk, I didnt need any help at it. I did get caught up in a lot of things by just following in the life I was living. I didnt lie all the time, just most of the time, but I did hang around with a bunch of liars.... When I did that, I lived in the lie. That made me just as bad. I knew what we were doing was wrong, and I didnt say anything... shame on me. Doing that, almost destroyed me..I lost all self worth, I could even look at my reflection in a window as I passed by. I thought I was just along for the ride. Who was I kidding? NOONE! I was being selfish, doing what I wanted to do, and not caring about the innocent people involved. Wait a minute...I wasnt a shitty Drunk, I was a shitty Person and a Drunk to boot... the key word is...was. I followed what I thought was my heart, but now when I look back at it. I followed anything and everything but My Heart... because I was lonely. Being alone sucks ass, and it breeds all kinds of other bad shit. I followed the wrong people down a path that almost killed me... One of the first things I heard when I was trying to get better was... Im gonna Love you, until you love yourself... I had to get away from the stuff that I was doing, so I could see it from a distance, and see how stupid it really was. I do that today. I stop, and look at it from another view, and it helps me see, before I get caught up in all the bullshit. When I find myself overly explaining my actions, that is a key that I might be doing something wrong... I learned that is called Justifying. I still do it, but now I know its a problem. And Im working on it... Im better then I was yesterday, and if I keep going... I will be even better tomorrow. Ill never be alone again, if all Im trying to do is get better...
