Good Morning San Pedro! Tonights Entrée special at the Casa is a delicious Snapper Francese. Lightly seared fresh red snapper in a lemon, white wine and butter sauce, served with oven roasted tomatoes, olive oil and fresh basil on top of parsley and garlic jasmine rice. And to get the juices going, tomorrows Thursday, Tasting Menu is a theme menu...Throwback Thursday, Tasting Menu. 5 courses from days gone by at the Casa. Chef Ben is brining back 5 of our most popular menu items from over the past 4 years in one menu. 1st Course - Ginger Sesame Conch - Tender Conch, lightly dredged in corn meal and fried, tossed with a fresh tomato and cho cho and drizzled with a ginger, sesame and soy glaze. 2nd Course - Lamb Lomo - Grilled Lamb, layered with piquillo peppers, triple cream brie cheese and a drizzle of olive oil on top of a toasted buttery crostini. 3rd Course - Shrimp and Grits - NOLA Style Blackened Shrimp in brown garlic, three pepper sauce served on top of creamy, cheesy grits. 4th Course - Malaysian, Rendang Pork Ribs - Pork Ribs marinated in lemon grass, cumin, coriander, fennel, turmeric and star anise and slow cooked in coconut milk served with jasmine rice. 5th Course - White Chocolate Flan topped with a Chambord caramel sauce. As always, we will be offering our regular menu and Jackie is busily planning the optional wine pairings with the first 4 courses.
