Good Morning Soldier Boy! It is Saturday Morning gramps is off to work, I have no idea why! I just changed keyboards, my new one is jumping all over and I am not a happy camper! We went to a group meeting from church last night and it was a fun time! A little wine, cheese and crackers, some cookies and lots of laughter but our hostess fooled us with questions from last weeks sermon. Of course I dont remember what I did yesterday so I sure didnt remember what I heard a week ago! Gramps did better than me, I dont know how that happened because he usually is busy during church counting people. Sometimes he even goes out to the parking lot and counts cars and then he does all this figuring in his head! He just might be losing it or entertaining himself who knows? We have lots of stuff in the works honoring you and when it all comes together we can put it out here for all to see! Gramps, our front man, works behind the scenes so who knows what he is cooking up? I will give you a hint, it involves the 101st Airborne! I just walked into the bedroom to put fresh sheets on gramps bed and I thought I saw something moving on the floor, I jumped backed thinking spider afraid to take my eyes off of the moving object I was trying to think of a way to kill it without killing myself in the process. I am digging in my pockets looking for a Kleenex but I realized that was stupid because I wont get that close to an insect which I was sure was moving as I watched it. After standing there staring at said bug for awhile I knew I had to make my move and grab a Kleenex because there was no other way to kill it. So I walked backwards keeping eyes on bug, turned around made a mad dash for bathroom grabbed Kleenex ran back, bug still there, bent over, squashed it, which gave a great sense of accomplishment, I then turned over the Kleenex (very carefully) to see what it was. It turned out to be a giant black birdseed that no doubt gramps dragged in on his shoes after their weekly feeding! I have now wasted at least 15 minutes trying to kill a seed. God help me! I should have known it was not a bug because my brain sends off a warning signal when there is a crawling object nearby and I did not get that warning signal! I have no idea why I just told you this but I did so now I will go on about my day! Gram loves you sweetie!
