Good Morning Sunshinez... :) Spent a beautiful early morning in a state of reflection & catching glimpses of precious & priceless images of the past takes me back to when I spent my summers with my grandparents. Sharing long conversations over preparing meals, tending to the crop & the times my grandma & I went gathering wild onions/potatoes or harvesting yucca. The whole plant was used to provide a useful need. The yucca leaves to make baskets & the root for cleansing purposes. My grandparents taught & shared so much of their knowledge, wisdom & appreciation for life with me. It is through them that I have grown up to be the spiritual being who Ive become. Faith is the fire lit by acceptance & through this that flame remains lit deep in the heart. I embrace each new day for all it has to offer & I share my blessings with... Spent a great time talking with my mom yesterday & realizing, Time is ever so changing so I am ever so thankful for my rich past. Anticipating a great run with one of my besties.
