Good Morning, Welcome to your weekly update, probably the most exciting update i have had the pleasure to write, since the launch of COS First of all a BIG BIG welcome, to the 500 new members we have gained over the last 4 weeks, i do hope you are enjoying the group. This week i did a deal with coversure Bromsgrove, and they have kindly agreed to sponsor the COS foodbank, which is scheduled to launch on the 1st February. All they ask in return, is that if you need insurance cover of ANY type, to please consider asking them for a quote. In return they will be topping up the stocks of food EACH AND EVERY MONTH. Should you then decide to take out a policy with them, they will also give you COS loyalty stamps, as a thank you. Please note COS will not be receiving ANY commission, on any policy that you take out, and have requested that ANY savings are passed ONTO YOU!!! This week i had a meeting with the management of T.C Cars. I must say i was overwhelmed with their set up, and their offices. In addition to this, i must say what a FANTASTIC management group they have, as well as a very caring owner. So caring, that in principal it has been agreed that THEY WILL PROVIDE A BRAND NEW HIGH TOP LUTON VAN so that we can continue the good work that we do. We will also now be able to pick up larger items, to pass onto those in need. Getting the van on a lease agreement, will take up too 6 weeks, so T.C cars have agreed for us to use one of their vehicles until the van arrives!!! Once we receive the new van, we will also be launching our new man in a van and removal service, EXCLUSIVELY FOR COS MEMBERS. There are not many companies around, that would be so GENEROUS, and i ask you all to please use T.C cars whenever you need a taxi. Also if you work for a company that uses CONTRACT DRIVERS please consider getting a quote from T.C cars. FANTASTIC COMPANY AND A COS SPONSOR!!!!!! Many of you inbox me asking for help, or it may be that you have an idea, that you want to put forward. I have found it really difficult to keep up with all the messages. Therefore i am now setting aside every Monday, so that i can meet you face to face. If you have an idea, or are in need of help and you wish to discuss it with me. i will be at the catholic community centre this Monday, from 12 midday till 5pm. Feel free to come and have a coffee with me. PLEASE NOTE.........Only issues to do with COS will be discussed, i am not a trained adviser on any financial or personal matters. As you know we will soon be launching our all new COS loyalty stamps. These stamps can be used to save up for things such as a family day trip to Blackpool,Weymouth,Great Yarmouth, Skegness and Minehead. They can also be used to save up for a christmas food or drinks hamper. Or you may want to use them to receive FREE tickets to a COS event. So how do you get loyalty stamps? 1 By taking part in a COS organized community event, such as litter picking, graffiti scrubbing, gardening, etc etc 2 By using a COS approved and registered business { details of all local businesses who are participating to follow } This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get FREE services and/or goods just by simply helping with the COS cause, and by using COS approved companies!!!!! On Sunday February 8th i will be having a local business open day. I encourage all local self employed people, and small business owners to attend. This will be taking place at the Catholic Community Centre Bosworth Drive. From 3.30pm to 6.30pm. IT IS IN YOUR INTEREST TOO ATTEND!! Please note COS will only recommend companies, that have VALID and in date, certification. COS as you can see for yourself, is becoming HUGE!! i want to make it clear to each and every one of you, no matter how big we become, i WILL ALWAYS make sure that every one of you have a voice. Sunday Feb 1st............Auction of 2nd hand furniture, bikes, musical instruments, ornaments, bric-a-brac and much more Both at Kingshurst and District labour club Sunday Feb 8th...........Catholic Community Centre Local self employed and small business open day Monday 9th Feb............PRIZE BINGO!!!!! { labour club } Saturday 14th Feb...........Valentines Disco { Labour club } Saturday 21st Feb...........Ladies night!!! { Labour club } Please try to support at least one COS event. Well i dont know about you, but i am getting more and more excited by the day!! Always remember this........................ I have set this group up, and not hid behind a computer. I have made my face known to all of you. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER let you down!!!!!!
