Good Morning :) Why must any character, separate from our sinful nature, in which we stand before G-d be exclusively that which we receive by propitiation from Jesus Christ? And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister, (Colossians 1:20-23). According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, (2 Peter 1:3-8). If you examine these closely in relationship to holistic teachings on Salvation, you may notice that in addition to Salvation taking place IN the Scripture, so too does the nourishment and watering of the Seed of the Son of G-d within unto maturity and completion. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life, (John 6:63). Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever, (1 Peter 1:23). Thus, character is first imputed by the sinlessness of Christ in the eyes of the Father according to judicial righteousness, and secondly, acquired through the reading and studying of Scripture. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God, (Romans 2:28-29). Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me, (Mark 10:21). Follow Who? Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, (Phil 1:6) Who is the doing the completion? No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day, (John 6:44). Who is doing the initiating? It is interesting to consider that the Catholic Church teaches that there is NO SALVATION outside of the Catholic church. Would that give them incentive to use witchcraft to make a Christian seem to be without character? Do the same demonic entities of government and church rely perpetually on character assassination? Argumentum Ad Hominum Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new, (2 Cor 5:16-17). For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up. Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God. Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow, (Isaiah 50:7-11). And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death, (Rev 12:10-11). Eggs, toast, juice. No bacon. Im the weaker brother.
