Good Morning all! Well todays run did not start of on a quiet note. I have a long road that I need to go down to get out onto the main road. I always use that as a warm up. As I was running I heard this growling and screeching sound coming from the field next to me. Wild animals freak me out in the dark. I had a run in with a rabid raccoon over a year ago. He chased me up to my house & camped out on my porch. Since then I am very cautious. I waited a minute and the thing was still making noise so I ran back up to my house, got in my car & drove down to the road. I think what ever it was went into the woods but I was not taking chances. After that all went well haha. I did 6 and a half miles incorporating hills & flat. It was a great run. I think it was a bit warmer this morning. The weather channel said 74. We are in for another hot one today. Get out there early or later for your run if you can. Have an awesome day & stay cool!
