Good Morning and Happy Sunday to everyone! I hope that everyone remembered to Spring Forward and set their clocks ahead one hour! Yesterday was so pretty and I think that we will have a repeat today! It is supposed to be partly cloudy with a high of 72! The paper this morning has a list of the most risky crossroads in Aiken! In order they are: Pine Log Road-Whiskey Road, East Gate Drive-Whiskey Road, Richland Avenue-University Parkway, Laurens Street-Richland Avenue, Daughtery Road-Whiskey Road! Teddy Kulmala wrote this article and has some nice pictures too! Ben Baugh wrote about our veterans and horses are forming a bond to cope with PTSD! He has included some nice pictures too! Congratulations to Joyce English! She is retiring after decades of teaching music! Rob Novit wrote this article and took some nice pictures too! He included a program about Black History that the children performed at Chucker Creek Elementary too! Congratulations to Venturing Crew 115 for their winning a national award! Maayan Schechter wrote about this and has some nice pictures too! We are so sad to learn of the death of Jesse Eugene Gilmore in New Ellenton! Jesse was in my 7th Grade classroom @NEMS! he was such a fine young man with a wonderful family! Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers! The Cultural Series is coming to an end!
