Good Morning everyone!! Today is such a great day to be alive!! As a young minister, my two friends and I rented an apartment together, and together we set out to minister to the homeless and downtrodden in Phoenix. We held weekly bible studies at the complex clubhouse, Friday devotionals at our apartment as we sat by the fireplace. Occasionally we would even bring in roommates to help them get on their feet. One such young man came to live with us. We were so excited because he cleaned himself up, got a haircut, and even went to the store and got a job. He gave his life to the Lord, and it was so exciting to see someone change so fast. However, one night he didnt show up after work, and finally, late that night he came crashing in the door, totally drunk. He began throwing chairs and furniture around like a crazy man. My friends and I prayed, nothing seemed to happen. We didnt know if he was going to try and kill us or what!!! He then turned his attention to me, slurring murderous threats and shouting. I told him that I was not going to fight him. So when he came at me, he tried to lift his hand against me, but for some reason he couldnt. It was as if both of his hands were glued to his sides, or perhaps an angel was holding his hands fast. The only thing he could do was try to butt me with his head. I was sooo thankful that God showed me his protection that night. He is a good Father!!! Not only was it a testimony to me, but to everyone in that apartment that night, we saw the hand of God work in our favor. Thank You, LORD, for being so awesome and wonderful!! You protect us from those who would harm us, those with evil intentions. We are so glad and rejoice in you!!!
