Good Morning friends. I have two specific things that if you could stop for just a minute and pray for this morning, we would be most grateful. Kayla had a rough night. Her kidneys are not functioning well, and because of this the doctors have decided to suspend immunotherarpy treatment until this problem reverses. We dont know how long this will take. She is spiking fevers of up to 103, low BP, and just feeling quite lousy. Please pray that the kidney issue will get resolved and that she will be able to continue treatment TODAY. It is imperative that she stay on this study. The second prayer request is for our friend Cody and his family. Cody is 16 has spent more days on the 8th floor than home over the last year being treated for AML a form of leukemia. He went home after what was believed to be his last treatment just 3 weeks ago. Cody found out yesterday that his cancer has returned and is being readmitted today. They are heartbroken, as you can imagine. Please pray for Cody, his mom and my friend Alicia Hayes, and his dad Frank. We become like family up here, celebrating victories large and small, and crying with each other when the news is hard to swallow. This news is hard to swallow. Prayers are much appreciated.
