Good Morning, friends and family! What an interesting start to the day. I heard all the goats making quite the commotion. Not the kind of commotion that makes you think DANGER!! but the kind that lets you know something out of the ordinary is happening. So I went to investigate, even though I was still in bed and had EVERY intention of staying there. I open the barn door, and SILENCE. I look around and all of the kids were gone!! The two resident escape artists, Edie and Prim were gone too. My brain was still trying to figure out this picture as I had had no coffee to jumpstart those wires. :p And suddenly, a Flash!! A baby goat raced by the opening to the outside, and I knew . So I opened the gate, and there they were. Bouncing happily all over the yard.. weaving back and forth, climbing the woodpile, teasing the other goats on the south side of the property.. I had to laugh.. oh how cute they were! A new joy in their step for having discovered the woodpile.. and being free of the confined space of the barn. Oh boy, I thought. I am going to have to let them out all the time now. They wont let it be any other way. :D
