Good Morning it is Thursday, November 27, 2014 - Thanksgiving Day! Happy Thanksgiving! Please drive carefully and defensively some have already lost their lives this holiday season, pray for those families! Yesterday I took time to thank the friends of the Ministry some are family members, but specifically today I’m Thankful for my family and Love them! We all experience some family members we may not see eye to eye with, yet we must put our best foot forward and love each of them as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us! Knowing this we should take time to be Thankful for what the Lord did for us! I’m personally so Thankful for what the Lord has done for me in my life! Many times at this time of the year I reflect back on where I was and where He brought me! There is an old Southern Gospel song that always expresses my Love for the Lord, this will serve as today’s DRJ title; If you knew me before I knew Him you would understand why I Love Him so! David the Psalmist/King under the inspiration of God penned this down in Psalm 40:1-3, I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth--Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. You too on the Destiny Road Journey have much to be Thankful!
