Good Morning~!! its Fri~ November 21, 2014..17F, DARN cold.... This morning the sunshine was bright, slight breeze as I raised Ole Glory to her position this morning.,.,Cats are fed, and water bowls refreshed..Outdoor cat water was frozen, got it dumpd refreshed with slightly warmer..Checked the wood stove, dumped the cold ashes in front and raked the embers forward..Laid on a new load of seasoned wood..Smoke is curling out the top as I closed the damper down. (flue hit the 350F) mark..Finally..Sitting down with coffee cup in hand..As I turned the News on, the computer went thru 21 major, recommended updates..Then..the Adobe Flash-Player for version 15 update..The Mailman, arrived in his little truck, hand carrying a package along with a few envelop.THE PACKAGE.. it s just arrived this morning...~!! Hand delivered..OMG, THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL~!!! Thanks ever so much..such a sweet touch, from your kitchen to mine..Thanks again~!! Only one star was broken..I decided to put it out of its misery..I ate em~!! Yummmmy~! Deliriously.. Delicious..very nicely made~~! :) With that..coffee cup in hand, my wish for Happy upcomin Thanksgiving for our entire nation.. Tomorrow is my youngest sons birthday~,,Nov 22, 1979,,Nathan E. Townsend was born, Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. Nate was a Thanksgiving baby..I recall, even today, how the doctor was pushing down hard, trying to induce an early exit..He was saying his Turkey was home waiting for him, etc..I was just about ready to cold turkey him with a famous right upper cut..(Yes, I do have..one) I was there, when Nate made his entry..all covered with blood..I quickly took him away from the nurse and held him for approx 5 minutes or more while the team was doing their..thing.. Then, finally the nurse said, we have to take him and weigh him, etc..So, the bonding that begin on that date, has stayed firm all thru these years..I love you kiddo..You are the best, none better..Proud of all that you have done.. Happy Birthday thoughts..
